Sean “Diddy” Combs Launches “Revolt,” A New Music TV Network

Diddy

According to an exclusive from Broadcasting & Cable, Sean Combs is planning to start, Revolt, his own music television channel on December 12, 2012.

Reports say Diddy has teamed up with Andy Schuon, a former programming chief from MTV. Comcast will assist with the distribution, as a result of their commitment to help minority owned networks launch. They forecast the channel will be seen in at least 10 million homes when it broadcasts.

“Revolt” is being described as an urban music and music news channel targeted to an African-American audience.

Diddy has already successfully branded himself across a number of industries, in addition to Bad Boy Entertainment, the Sean John clothing and fragrance lines, not to mention the partnership with Ciroc, I am not surprised he’s making this move…
