Beyoncé Knowles-Carter was the first woman to ever headline the Glastonbury festival in England on June 26, and she made history. Performing solo hits, fan favorite Destiny’s Child tunes and even a cover of Prince’s hit, The Beautiful Ones, Beyoncé appeared before more than 100,000 people at the concert.
“Glastonbury, I want ya’ll to know right now you are witnessing my dream, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for having me and my band tonight. I always wanted to be a rock star and tonight we are all rock stars.”
