Lexus Nashville Fashion Week Runway Opens with Valentine Valentine, by SMITH and T. Rains Designs!

VALENTINE VALENTINE BY AMANDA VALENTINE

On Tuesday night, The Queen’s Castle was in the building at Marathon Music Works for opening night of the 2012 Lexus Nashville Fashion Week runway shows featuring designs by Valentine Valentine, by SMITH and T. Rains.

Five years ago, Nasvhille Fashion Week was created by Robert Campbell who combined and joined forces with Creative Co-Op Nashville, a team of fashion, retail and media professionals that work to bring the city-wide celebration of all things fashionable.

In addition to placing a spotlight on fashion, Nashville Fashion Week aims to have an economic impact on the city and uses a portion of proceeds to benefit the newly established Nashville Fashion Forward Fund, which is administered by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

The evening’s affair not only brought fashions from Valentine Valentine, by SMITH and T. Rain to the stage, but attendees also enjoyed musical performances by Five Knives, Humming House and Brooklyn’s Finest, Shinobi Ninja!

Amanda Valentine is responsible for her own Valentine Valentine designs. The collection she shared last night could be described as an iridescent disco party. Her designs for women showcased vibrant colors and textures…

Traver Rains avant-garde designs showcased pieces for both men and women. In addition to swim wear, T. Rains offered clothing that featured bold patterns, that were complimented by sheer fabrics. He also gave the runway a few crocheted and macrame pieces The Queen’s Castle wanted to grab right off the runway, along with a few of his gowns that were absolutely breathtaking…
