Written and directed by Darrell Roodt, “Winnie,” is based on the life of Winnie Mandela, former wife of Rolihlahla Nelson Dalibunga Mandela aka Nelson Mandela. With the anti-apartheid movement as a central backdrop, the film is scheduled to release in 2011.
