New Jersey news anchor Brenda Blackmon of WWOR was the first to land an exclusive interview with Cissy Houston, as she broke her silence to discuss the tragic passing of her daughter, Whitney Houston.

In the interview, Cissy Houston shared her discuss for the media’s coverage of Whitney’s life, “The media are awful. People have come from here and there, don’t know what they’re talking about,” she continued, “but God has his way of taking care of all of it, and I’m glad I know that.”

She also clarified that she has no regrets about raising her only daughter, “I know I did the best I could. I don’t blame myself. I know I did the best I could for everything. She was my only daughter and a good one.”

The full-length trailer for Sparkle, which features Whitney’s last onscreen performance has also surfaced.

The 9th Annual Southern Entertainment Awards & Music Industry Conference was held in Memphis, Tennessee from March 30 to April 2, 2012.

More than 1,500 of the entertainment industry’s most influential individuals attend the SEAs to partake in educational panels, the annual fashion show and showcase featuring emerging talent, as well as the awards presentation, which were hosted by Gangsta Boo and producer, Drumma Boy.

This year’s informative panels helped attendees take a product from concept to the market with seminars titled, “Putting Together the Team for the Dream,” “Give the People What they Want/Need,” “From Word of Mouth to the Entire South,” and “From an Artist to an Entertainer: Don’t Just Show Up, Show Out!”

With five bedrooms and four baths, the 3,891 square foot mansion in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, sits on 2.8 acres out in the country…

And although the couple’s new digs are a 5-hour drive from Amber’s hometown of Philadelphia, the $900,000 investment is in the backyard of Wiz’s black and yellow city of Pittsburgh, the commute is less than a half hour.

This morning Beyoncé posted Brianna Perry’s Marilyn Monroe to her website, “Take a Pic…”

So who is Brianna Perry aka Brianna the Young Rich Bandit (YRB)?

She’s a native of Miami, Perry formerly performed under the moniker Lil’ Brianna “The Kandi Girl.” In her bio she shares, “I was basically birthed in the studio. My afterschool care consisted of sitting in on other artists’ studio sessions. At a young age, all of the influential people in my life were involved in music so subconsciously my passion grew for the game as well. My parents and E-Class took notice to my developing talent and decided the rest is history.”

She’s been grinding since the early 2000′s, has collaborated with Jackie-O and was also featured on Trina’s Diamond Princess. Now signed to Poe Boy Music Group, she has several mix tapes, Candy Girl, Princess of Miami, The Graduation and Face Off, which dropped December 2011; you can download it here.
